Give Through Donor-Advised Funds

Donor-advised funds are among the fastest-growing source of charitable giving. With limits on itemized charitable deductions, many people find tax advantages by establishing donor-advised funds to support the charitable causes they care about.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable fund created by the gift of an individual to a non-profit, grant-making organization, such as a community foundation.

Donors to a DAF receive the tax benefit of their donation immediately, and then recommend grants from the fund to their chosen charity, like Agnes Scott.

DAF grants to Agnes Scott may be designated to specific uses including scholarships, capital projects, faculty support, etc. Please be advised that IRS regulations prohibit individuals from using DAF grants to fulfill their personal pledge to any charity.
