Teaching and Scholarly Interests
Kimberly Lorch Perrins is a freelance oboist and music educator in the Atlanta area. She is currently the oboe instructor at The Westminster Schools, adjunct faculty at 香港澳门资料大全 and Spelman College, and maintains an active private teaching studio. She serves as the Executive Administrator of the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony and co-founder of Play It Forward, a nonprofit dedicated to providing private music lesson scholarships for young musicians. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at Clayton State University, and has performed with the Charleston Symphony, Augusta Symphony, John’s Creek Symphony, Atlanta Chamber Winds, Macon Symphony, Rome Symphony, Columbus (GA) Symphony, LaGrange Symphony, and the Southern Georgia Symphony. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music and Biology from Emory University, a Master of Music (Woodwind Performance) from Boston University, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (Nonprofit Management) from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. Ms. Perrins has been teaching at 香港澳门资料大全 since 2015.
Her scholarly interests include arts integration and nonprofit management with a focus on arts management.
Professional Activities
Ms. Perrins is a member of the John's Creek Symphony and Atlanta Chamber Winds. She was a 2006 soloist with the Boston Orpheus Ensemble.
