The Clinical Mental Health Counseling program within Graduate Studies at 香港澳门资料大全 is seeking to hire an Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure track) with expertise in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and knowledge of intersectional frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications: Earned PhD in Counselor Education by July 31, 2025 from a CACREP-accredited program. Licensed or license-eligible in Georgia. Demonstrated commitment to values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications: Holds or is eligible to apply for either CPCS (Georgia’s supervision credential) or ACS (supervision credential through NBCC/CCE). Demonstrated commitment to the field of counseling through active engagement in professional organizations. Prior teaching experience in a graduate Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Evidence of scholarship in the form of peer-reviewed publications and/or national and/or regional presentations. Preference given to scholarship addressing equity and diversity in counseling.

Position Description:

This position is for Assistant/Associate Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program within Graduate Studies at 香港澳门资料大全. The position is a full-time, one-year, non-tenure track, 12-month appointment. This position is eligible for renewal.

The CMHC program is in the process of seeking CACREP accreditation and is currently scheduling a site visit. Primary responsibilities include teaching (60%), research/scholarship (20%), and service (20%). The teaching load is six courses per academic year, inclusive of the summer term.

A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in counseling is required in this position. Our program approaches counseling with an intersectional framework and values decolonizing practices. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with others and communicate effectively. It is likely that some of the teaching load will include practicum and/or internship. Persons from underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance. After one year of employment, retirement benefits are available.
